Welcome. Navan Grind School
Navan Grind School is an education centre which provides both Leaving & Junior Certificate tuition to small groups of students. These small classes are organized in such a manner that they ensure individual attention to students. We also have a supervised study which allows students to study before or after their grinds. Navan Grind School encourages its students to work hard and help them achieve their maximum academic success.We have a dedicated team of highly qualified, approachable and experienced teachers. Many of our teachers participate in the submission of questions and correction of exams papers.
What will I expect as a student?
As a student there is nothing more satisfying than sitting down to do an exam CONFIDENT that you know your subject thoroughly, and you finally have a chance to display the results of all that hard work. Our aim is for you to get the highest marks possible in your exam, so in addition to revision/explanation we will continuously address past papers and exam techniques. In class we will remind you of what you have been taught, help with homework problems, get you to do extra practice at exam questions and sort out the things you do not understand in class. We will focus on the essential points in each of the topics and organise your revision and preparation for the actual examinantion. You will also learn how to make your own notes for revision and use mnemonics as memory aids.
Please note: Supervised study comes at no extra cost. Study is included in our fees for all students. Students can avail of this from Mon-Thurs 4-7.30pm and Friday 4-6pm.
